Three Cards

Running out of time to post. But heres a few cards I did today.

Flower Pot For A Bathroom Or a Girly Gift

This was fun to do. Since Greenbean did the loofah on a topiary I did it in a flower pot. :) Added some spa gloves for petals and voila! I've had this in my head for a long time, and never have gotten around to doing it. I had to whip up a couple quick gifts today and this just seemed to fit. Hope you like it.

Freezer T Shirt

My first attempt at a freezer t shirt. Jaryd wanted a wolf so I used the Old West Cartridge for that. I could not get the letters to stop from tearing so I just hand wrote what Jaryd wanted it to say. And added some music notes coming from the wolf mouth because the tshirt was for a guitar hero party this weekend. And no, my son doesn't usually go around with blue hair. This was a stretch for us. LOL! We tattooed him up, added a dog chain to his waist, and cut off his sleeves so he'd be all rocked out. I think he had fun with it. As for doing the tshirt, it was fun, but I suck at it. So I'll be doing more! :) Happy weekend everyone.

Your Kindness Warms My Heart

Still feeling a bit under the weather but I am getting there. I haven't really submitted things for challenges yet, but I was intrigued by My Graffico's site lately and thought I'd submit one. I used a "Paula Stands" digi stamp by "Designer: Clip Art and Scrap" from their site. (Just loved this one.) And some misc. scrap paper I had in the bins. I don't really have the right markers to do a lot of shading etc. But I am still happy with how she turned out. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. :)

FINALLY!

Okay. I had to kick that internet service to the curb. I can't believe what terrible customer service Clearwire had and that I was so patient to listen to all those false promises. I "CAN" be nice. I also can be very "NOT NICE" when pushed. So today was the straw that broke the proverbial back. I was so sick last night and just woke up exhausted today. I refuse to feel sorry for that customer representative. I let them have it. And then I went out and got a new modem from someone else and low and behold... I HAVE INTERNET AGAIN! No sneaking a minute here or there from work. No dashing to a friends house to check emails. Nope. NOW I CAN CATCH UP ON ALL OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK!!! Right after I get over whatever this is. Some random flu??? What is that about? One minute fine, one minute not so much. What a fickle creature I am today. :) But I am happy now. I have access to people again. YEAH! I hope to be back posting soon. Thank you for all of your patience.

Guitar Hero Bouquet

One of my favorite little boys is turning 9 today. Happy Birthday Parkadoodle! Hugs and smooshy kisses from me to you. :)

His mom is throwing him a guitar hero birthday bash this weekend(great mom huh?) so I thought I'd show up bearing this. Something fun to be set out on the table and a special little something to show him how much I care. I think I saw a version of this on the mb though I can't recall who did it or what they had (mental note, write this stuff down!!!) I just remember the pop rocks and thought "Oh, this would be perfect for the party!" So I cut a bunch of electric guitars from Indie Art and stickled like crazy. Even a boy needs some bling from time to time. :) The heart and wings are on Indie as well. I just "tied" them together to look "rockerish." Is that a word? HA! Well, it is now. LOL!

The bottom is covered with starburst. I think/hope he'll like it. I am going to attempt my first freezer paper tshirt for Jaryd to wear to the party. Thought it would be a good time because if I make any errors, it will look more distressed and rockerish (see, told you it was a word! Ha ha!) Wish me luck. . .

Trail Bridge Layout

It has been absolutely forever since I did a scrapbook layout. I got so into "cards" that I forgot to keep up on my pictures. Well, I didn't forget exactly, I got sidetracked. Anyways, here is a layout that I did using create a critter and doodletype. The open square will contain the text/story behind the photos. Definately not my best layout I have ever done, but it was so nice to switch things up and play around.

More Apologies And A Winner!

Thank you all for your patience. I get a new modem Monday or Tuesday and I really hope that will solve my problem. Sneaking off to a friends house is great for coffee but not for going online! I was so afraid I was going to wake up her husband... I wanted out of there ASAP. It was his birthday. Everyone deserves to sleep in on there birthday. Not be woken up by some crazed lady who need internet access! LOL!

Owl Card

I tried to make a brief escape to the craft room last night when the hubby hollered "haven't you been out there enough for the day?" - Huh? Describe "enough" dear, and no, that was yesterday... :) "Haven't been out to the craft room today. Be right back!" - And sure enough, within the half hour this was created. I dashed back in and said "SEE! If I'd have stayed in here, someone would not be getting this adorable card!!!" He just rolled his eyes and kept watching nascar. Yep, my loving hubby just doesn't "get it." LOL!

You Are Truly Amazing

The stamps says it all on this one. Everyone has or should have someone in there life that continually amazes them and raises the bar. I am fortunate to know one of these angels on earth and I want to give her this to sweeten her day a bit. No cricut, just a some stamping and a MS border punch. Easy but pretty. (I think?!)

Spongebob Birthday Card

This card is for my faux-nephew. I love him and miss him so much. He's growing up so fast! This is what happens when your best friend lives in another state. You miss those moments. Heart breaking! Obviously used spongebob cartridge on this one and celebrations for the hat. And of course, pop dots. :)

Guitar Birthday

My sons best friend is having a guitar hero birthday party next week and I needed a quick birthday card to put with the package. I came up with this using Wild Card and Indie Art.

My bday was a couple weeks ago and I was sorely tempted to just buy over the counter thank you's so I wouldn't be any later getting them out. But Audrey told me I couldn't. LOL! ---

A loved one is in the hospital and its not looking very good. I was asked to make a special card for the family and all I could think of was that if they could manage to let her go, she'd finally be at peace. She's been struggling for so long that really, that is the first thing that came to my mind. Hence the wording. These cards are so difficult. There are never enough words and I am at a loss to say more. I used the new Straight From The Nest Cart.

Birthday Cupcake

Yuck! Terrible scan. Sorry! Much cuter in person... Oh well. At least I have something to show you. My ears finally popped and I am on the road to recovery and being halfway normal. FINALLY! - So here is a cupcake bday card using Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I'll have a lot more bday cards coming up this week and next since there are a ton for April! We'll see if I get around to homemade thank you's for my bday or if I cheat and get a package of store bought. (Gasp! - I KNOW!!!) It will kill me too.
