The Coast

Just got back from a fabulous weekend trip at the Oregon Coast. Took my son to visit the Sea Lion Caves and just enjoyed a mother -son bonding moment. Had a blast hooking up with some amazing crafy women. We made some cards, snacked, chatted... Just had a good time.

Brought "wii dance" along and so glad I did! The six year old little girl that was there fell in love with it. Talk about ultra adorable! Only shy when we were up there with her, but I caught glimpses when she thought no one was watching and man, that little thing has got the moves down! I think she could put us all to shame. :)

Played in the surf a bit. You'd think the water would be freezing but I don't think it was that bad for the time of year. My son got a lesson in body surfing when he got caught up in a wave. Darn those "sneaker" waves. LOL! It was fun to watch. As long as he was safe and having fun, I was good.

The food was delicious of course. Didn't follow my diet at all. But I am hoping that with all the running around and dancing that the scale won't holler at me tomorrow when I weigh in. So far I have lost 20 pounds. I don't want to give up yet. I am no where near where I want to be. But sometimes you just need those days off from worrying about every little thing you put in your mouth.

I will try to post the pics of the cards I made tomorrow. I ran off and forgot to grab them. So this will be a little teaser... :) Have a great day ~
