Chic & Scary Giveaway!

Its been awhile since I had a giveaway. But in my defense, theres been alot going on! Things are starting to settle in and I'm starting to find my groove once again. To celebrate that (like we need a reason?!) I'll be giving away this cool cartridge on October 31st. Yep! What a cool halloween treat huh? All ya gotta do is what you always have to do to get something from me. (I keep it simple.)You have to be a follower because this is how I thank you for putting up with me. And two, leave me a comment saying you would want it (and please make sure I know how to get a hold of you because I'll be sad if I can't get you the prize!) Thats it. You can spread the word and send people here, or don't and keep the secret all to yourself. Up to you!

I'll have random.org draw on Halloween and will post the winner. Good luck everyone!

Tinkerbell Wishes You A Happy Halloween

A pink halloween card? Yep! A tinkerbell halloween card? Double Yep! Don't you just love it? Dear little tink sitting among the pumpkins. This will be perfect for my sister in law who is a disney freak.

Still having to scan them in. If anyone knows where I might have placed that camera chip I'd really appreciate a hint! LOL! Thanks for bearing with me on the bad scans.

Happy Fall Ya'll

Good morning! I guess its a good morning. I have a bit of a cold so I am not 100% with the bright and cheery this morning. But I am doing well trying to fake it so far. :)

This card was used from Sesame Seasons. Good ol' Bert was having fun making a huge snowball in the booklet. But I changed that out to holding a pumpkin. A two dimensional tree in the background with some flower soft makes the perfect backdrop for Bert and his giant pumpkin don't you think?

Since I scanned this card in, the colors are all wonky. But in "real life" its quite awesome if I do say so myself.

I presented this card to my employers family this morning and they were over the moon about it. Lets not tell them that the bug once again, makes me look like I spent 'hours' on a card. :)hee hee hee. I don't have hours unfortunately. Can you imagine what that would be like?

Have a great day everyone!

Retail Therapy Card

This was done with my Imagine machine and the Better Together cartridge. A very quick and simple cut. I cut the image twice so I could pop out the packages that she carries for some added dimension. I ended up softening the edges with white paint ---not my intention but I didn't clean up from my last project and knocked over the dang bottle. So rather than do it all over again, I just went with it. Lesson learned. Not too bad. But not how I wanted it exactly. Oh well! If I strove for perfection, you'd never find a post from me! Oh, and this card is for a friend who is going thru some medical issues of her own. I don't see or talk to her very much anymore but never the less, I want to show that I still care. She was very overwhelmed the other day so I made this up for her in hopes that we could make some time to hit the mall one day soon and catch up.

Sorry to lose another follower. I really am trying to keep posting but with my medical conditions and family life, it is a struggle. But then again, each and every one of you have your very own struggles. SO -- I guess what I am saying is thank you to all of you that do continue to come here and check in. And also for posting on your own blogs. You inspire me and make me smile daily with all your amazing creations.

I am going to try to have a drawing as a thank you to all of you in the next few weeks. So do keep checking back! Hugs to you all. Have a great day.

"Hello"

My SIL asked our family over for dinner the other night. We finally caught up on everyones birthdays and just had a quiet evening together. It was so nice to download and relax for the evening and just be us.

So to thank her for the lovely dinner and all her hard work, I was going to send her this. She likes things very simple and elegant so this is what I came up with. We might live in the same town, but we hardly ever see each other. So a simple 'hello' and thank you should work perfectly.

I used the Cricut Cartridge Ornamental Iron (2) image on page 54. La Creme paper. Studio 112 stamp.

"Turning 50 doesn't have to stink..."

Campin critters to the rescue!I did this back in August and didn't get a chance to post. I cuttled the background with the number set for a soft background that added a bit of dimension to the card. Then cuttled the outhouse just to add some texture. Flocked the skunk for more texture and softness. I really liked how it turned out. A very non traditional bday card for a guy. Cards for men are the hardest for me to do, so I am very happy with this one. (Oh, and I cut everything at 3.75")Have a great day!
